BOXbox '09 Installation

Our team were the winners of the 2009 BOXbox competition. The Brief required us to conceive, plan and create a public installation informed by the concept and discussion of escapism. The installation had to be created using cardboard boxes as the primary building material. In our day-to-day lives we are constrained and controlled by time, therefore we concluded that true escapism is not constrained by time in any way. This led us to transform intangible digital time into a simple physical clock, with ourselves and the public as the time-tellers.
